Staff Augmentation

Locating hard to find technical resources is one of our areas of expertise.  This includes: Project Manager, System Analyst, System Architect, System Engineer, Database Administrator, SharePoint Administrator, Subject Matter Expert, Process Improvement, Security Analyst, Network Administrator, and Developer (Mobile, Web, Web Services, E-Commerce, Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, SharePoint, Client/Server, and Mainframe). We only propose the finest candidates to our client.  We use our proprietary resume repository and subscribe to the necessary employment websites to post and search for our client position requirements.  Once a possible candidate is located, we follow our in-depth recruitment process to ensure they satisfy our client requirements.  This includes in-depth technical interviews to ensure our consultant will arrive at the client site ready to participate in their work environment.  We follow-up with our consultant and client to ensure that our consultant is satisfied with the work environment and our client is satisfied with our consultant performance.  We are devoted to finding the consultant that is right for our client.  Our number one goal is the satisfaction of our client.

IT Services

Our development teams have extensive experience in Application Development, E-Business Solutions, Business Intelligence, Application Maintenance, Content Management, Platform Migration, Data Warehouse, and Testing.  We provide project management, database administration, system analysis, security analysis, architecture, requirements definition, design, construction, integration, testing, and deployment services.  Our expertise in the Scrum, Agile, and Waterfall System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies allow us to use the appropriate methodology for your project.  The methodology used during development will depend on the stability of the requirements for the system.  The development team's first task is to evaluate the client’s technical environment.  Next gather the requirements for the application involving the end-user community to assure that the capabilities are well defined.  The requirements baseline is created.  The design for the system will be finalized.  The application will be constructed according to specifications.  Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) databases and database objects are developed and implemented.  Complete testing of the application is accomplished.  The application is implemented in the production environment.  USS installs and supports SharePoint, Windows Server and SQL Server infrastructures.

Process Improvement

We utilize the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) process improvement framework in our process improvement environment.   First we assist our client in defining their current client processes, policies, and procedures.  We perform an in-depth analysis of their current environment.  At this time omitted processes that are required for the client to function efficiently will be developed.  We document exiting processes and make appropriate suggestions for process improvement.   Once the processes have been defined, the process improvement framework will be used to improve the new and existing processes.  The processes need to be evaluated to ensure that they meet the client objectives.  The objective is for the client processes to satisfy best practices for their industry.  Inadequacy will be documented and a plan to eliminate the inadequacy will be developed and implemented.  Audit procedures will be put in place to monitor processes and ensure consistent performance of processes.  The results of these efforts will produce a best in class environment for our client.

Project Management

The Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) is used as the foundation for USS project management processes.  Utilizing best practices we use proven processes, procedures, tools, and techniques during Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Controlling, and Closing.  Our project managers have years of hands on experience with project and program management.  They have in-depth knowledge of Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communications, Risk, Procurement, and Stakeholders Management.  The project manager identifies communication channels and keeps stakeholders informed of projects status.  Establishes processes, procedures, and policies for consistent, effective risk management and change management.  Determine activities, duration, sequencing, resource allocations, and deliverables completion.  Monitors personnel performance as compared to schedule baseline and identifies variances and takes corrective action as necessary.  Uses effective metrics-based performance measurement processes.  Continuously monitors activities to ensure continuous improvement and project success.  Our project team structure enhances communication, defines responsibilities, tracks and measures results, and establishes clear lines of communication, authority, and accountability.
